Grainne Mac Loughlin, Breeogue Pottery.

A member of Économusee International.

Breeogue Pottery studio and ceramic gallery inhabits an old coach yard building. Inside, the workshop is a busy hive of creativity and skill. Grainne produces a high-fired stoneware tabletop range and decorative tiles. She decorates her work using a slip trailing technique and brushwork to create images from nature.

Grainne welcomes visitors to her workshop and studio gallery, where beautiful Raku vessels and framed tiles by her husband Tom Callery are also on display. The tour involves learning about the process of making pots, various techniques and carrying on the traditions of this ancient art. Watch the potter's wheel in action, see the glazes and wonder at the magic of the searing hot kiln.

Open Monday to Saturday 2.00pm - 5.00pm
